Gillespie/Clarke Salt Peanuts – Dizzy Gillespie/Charlie Parker
(Town Hall, New York City, June 22, 1945)

this track is such a classic…it’ll make you grin, or else..

Tchaikovsky arr Peter Breiner Behind the window of a shadow, Amid the din of the ball and The Canary – Takako Nishizake, v; The Queensland Orch
Naxos 8.555332 8’47
Originaly songs for voices – these arrangements with the voices taken out, generally the violin taking the vocal line. the songs have rarely been performed by non-russian singers, perhaps because of the difficulty of language. The last song is very beautiful and somehow familier, would be good to hear it again and check that.

Mozart Adagio & Rondo, K617 for Flute, Oboe, Viola, Cello and glass harmonica – Ensemble Villa Music
